Being able to provide a fast and accurate diagnosis plays a crucial role in improving the prognosis for your pet. To achieve the best possible health outcomes for our patients, Vets in Cranbourne has extensive diagnostic facilities including digital x-ray equipment. This advanced technology makes capturing images of organs, bones and soft tissue quick and painless. These images will then be reviewed by your veterinarian and if we deem it necessary, we may have a specialist surgeon or radiologist give a second opinion at no extra cost to ensure we diagnose your pet accurately.
If our digital x-ray equipment does not reveal a diagnosis, we may move to using more advanced imaging technology such as our in-house ultrasound equipment or provide you with a referral to a CT/MRI specialist centre.
After the x-rays are taken, your vet will make an appointment to review and discuss the results with you. We are also able to email you a copy of your pet’s x-rays upon request.
